How rebates combine

  • A single heating system earns a single heating rebate. FortisBC excludes combining dual fuel with other FortisBC, provincial or federally funded rebates for it.
  • CleanBC income-qualified takes the place of the standard rebate. For the same upgrade you get one or the other.
  • The two-upgrade bonus adds. FortisBC pays $300 ($350 income-qualified) when you complete a second qualifying upgrade. Ventilation doesn’t count toward the bonus.
  • Separate upgrades are separate rebates. Windows, insulation and fans are each claimed on their own.
  • Capped at your cost. No rebate can be larger than the invoice amount you paid.

How HeatLand helps with the BC rebate programs

HeatLand’s technicians are brand-agnostic, so the advice on the BC rebate programs isn’t tied to selling one product. We start with what you have now, how old it is and what you want it to do, then tell you honestly whether a rebate fits, including when the answer is no or when waiting a year makes more sense.

If you go ahead, HeatLand provides a free, no-obligation estimate for qualifying equipment, helps with the CleanBC and utility paperwork, and explains how to confirm any contractor’s listing on the HPCN directory. Call or text (604) 330-3812, or email info@heatland.ca.

Do BC rebate amounts change often?
Yes, regularly. CleanBC amounts changed on July 6, 2026, and FortisBC’s programs changed again on October 15, 2026.
